Finding the right therapist can be a difficult and overwhelming process.  There seems to be an endless array of choices, and it's so important to find the right fit for you. 

In order to help make this process easier, I offer and encourage you to interview me over the phone, and I will be happy to answer any questions about therapy or the therapeutic process. 

I am skilled in working with individuals, couples, and families alike regarding a variety of issues using a personalized approach. I see clients via video and phone.

Laurie Wheeler

Education

I received my B.S. in Psychology from SMU in Dallas.  My Master's degree was from Tulane University in my hometown of New Orleans.

Clinical Experience

I have been in practice since 1990 and have extensive experience in all clinical settings including inpatient hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs as well as private practice.

In addition, I have acted as clinical director and had administrative roles in a hospital setting.
