Insurance

I am an "out of network" provider with insurance companies which means that I do not bill insurance companies directly.  Your counseling services may be eligible for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits, medical spending or health care savings accounts.

Most insurance plans provide "out of network" coverage which allows you to choose your own clinician and reimburse you a percentage of the provider's fee.  I will provide you documentation that will enable your insurance company to reimburse you if your plan provides such benefits.    

If you are interested in using your health insurance, please call your insurance provider to inquire about reimbursement for out-of-network counseling services. 

If this arrangement does not work for you,  I am happy to help you find another provider who is on your insurance provider panel. 

Rates

$175 per 50-minute session

$260 per 75-minute session

Longer sessions are sometimes helpful- especially for couples and families.  Those session fees can be prorated.

Payment Options

Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. Venmo is another option.  Please make sure your Venmo setting are set to "private" in order to protect your confidentiality.

Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts

If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you are generally able to pay for therapy services from such accounts.  Please check your specific HSA or FSA to see if any restrictions apply.

Cancelation Policy

If you do not show for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be subject to a $50 fee.  A text message or email appointment reminder will be available to you.
